With Christmas coming closer our Tv's and other media sources are filled with pictures of snow, fire and warmth, but here in Australia Christmas is celebrated a little differently. Due to the presence of summer here our Chrissie is done with the beach, sun and even a little bit of aloe vera for the after maths (aka the over tan). Sydney is a beautiful place to have Christmas but this year we took it a little north to celebrate this festive season in style at the Gold Coast, QLD. Up here it is all sun, surf and relax. so before i get going down to the beach a mer block or two away and visible from my window i think it is time worth spent taking a trip down or up to Qld for your self wether it be a close family christmas or just a holiday after a long year, the slow pace is a welcome change from the usual fast pace nature of Sydney or where ever you may be from.
